inStreatham BID has teamed up with beep studio to bring the streets of Streatham to life with a number of creative bespoke artworks that celebrate famous Streatham residents, through a trail of paintings on the outside of the high roads vacant shops.

As you may know, Lambeth Council has just launched a consultation on the future of cultural services in the area. This is because everybody should be within walking distance of something to do – whether that’s physical activities, open spaces, social clubs or cultural opportunities like libraries or cinemas.

InStreatham Lights up the Town this Christmas

Streatham will be bathed in beautiful white light this Christmas, with magical Christmas decorations transforming our famously long High Road and Streatham Green.  The lights are being officially switched on at Streatham Green/Babington Road, near the Manor Arms pub on Saturday 6th December between 4 and 5pm. 

Expect a big show of pretty festoon and fairy lighting, a beautiful Christmas tree and a festive Farmers Market to create a wonderfully atmospheric event to kick start Christmas.
